I'm Abdulmateen Aderinto, a wildlife, landscape and event photographer based in Canada.
Finding the extraordinary in everyday places and celebrating our wonderful planet.
Photography began for me as a way to document the places, wildlife, and moments that caught my attention. Over time, it became a way of looking more deliberately at the world: noticing light, behaviour, scale, and details that are easy to overlook.
My work spans wildlife, landscapes, portraits, and events, but the goal is consistent: to create vibrant, detailed images that feel true to the experience of being there.
Outside photography, I’m a PhD researcher in immunology at the University of Toronto. My scientific background has shaped the way I approach photography: with curiosity, patience, attention to detail, and an appreciation for the natural world.
Whether I’m photographing wildlife in the field, a landscape while travelling, or people at an event, I’m drawn to moments that reveal something worth paying attention to.
